Summary:
don't delete unchanged epg-entrys, on epg-update, if the result will be lesser entrys then before.

Description:
I watched the logfiles and noticed that a few channels have two epg-entrys for other channels, maybe to get an overview on a reciver. When these epg-entrys are detected tvserver deletes all existing epg-entrys for this channel and the result will be only two entrys instead of 200.

yeah, I'm having troubles with this too.
EPG isn't very easy to come by in Australia and sometiems the download only has two channels in it. When this happens all my channels are deleted and only the two new ones are added.
I have removed the check from the "Delete EPG data before import" option in the TV server XMLTV setup, but this still happens.
Ideally, data should only be deleted if there is something to replace it that is different.

i think i should mention that i am using dvb-epg.
Here in germany channels of ZDFvision have two entries for ARD and ARD channels have two entries for ZDFvision. So i have either epg-data for ARD or ZDFvision but never for both of them.

    Bringing up the dead:
Would it be possible to just delete the entries for the channels with WebEPG-mappings? I use DVBEPG for 90% of the channels and WebEPG for the remaining ones. Without deletion old webepg-entries dont get updated and with deletion I lose 90% of my EPG information and have to wait over an hour for a complete update.
