Hello! I discovered, than since RC3 and in RC4 too, in MP when watching movies with FFDSHOW audio and video and selecting audio track in video files with multiple audio tracks, MP shows count of tracks doubled. For example - in movie file I have 1 russian and 1 englush track. MP shows me 5 tracks! And all of the tracks works correct!
Here screenshots of MP and graphedit and logs are attached.
As viedo codec I use FFDSHOW and for audio use it too. MKV splitter is Matroska splitter. WatchingIPTV with ffdshow audio decoder with multiple tracks works fine - the real count of audio tracks shown.

May be it is not MP's bug?

I think this is MP bug because VLC is playing on the same mashine without any problem. Problem showed also on 3 other systems which have RC4 installed.

Hi,

I think it's related to a know issue, it's because two IAMStreamSelect Filter is in "use". When i look you log it seems that Haali is in use and not Matroska.

A patch is waiting to approve by dev to solve this if it's really related to this issue :

I think Audio StreamSwticher is enable in FFDshow so 2 detections of audio stream is made.

Sebastiii, enable or disable audio stream switcher does not affect on this. It shows doubled numbers of streams anyway.

Andrusha777, if you don't use ffdshow audio ? do you have the same issue ?
And normally if your source splitter is MPC Matroska you should have only simple stream.

Sebastiii, If I use another audio codec, it's seems to be ok - all tracks shown as the should be - if it is 2 tracks it shows 2 track (and one name as current stream and codec), if i use 3 - shows 3 and so on. With FFdshow audio it shows x2 number of tracks - 4 tracks for 2 audio streams and so on (and one for name of codec see the screens of 1st post - 1st track wqich i cannot select)
As splitter i use Haali Media Splitter, not MPC.
