When I get to this step in the MediaPortal Installation Tool:
"Please set the needed options for the TV-server installation:"

I receive the error:

Please review your InternetExplorer configuration.
Corrupted config file, if found, will now be deleted.

I am trying to set up MediaPortal on a PC that has no access to the internet either directly or through a network. Is there anyway I can do this?

hi cobo,

you MUST have a internet connection for the first time. Go on a internet enabled computer, start MP Installation Tool, select download only option.
Then copy the downloaded directory content to the desired pc.

Thanks. That seems to have worked as far as getting Media Portal to run on that PC.

Beyond that I've had no success finding a way to access my tuner. This is the unfriendliest software I've run across in a long while. I give up.

Installata ho la versione 1 rc1

ma non c'è verso di installare la nuova versione
