I'm expierencing a lot of dropouts in the video when copying files on my machine, even when copying them on another hdd as the one where live tv buffers are on.

Is this normal behaviour or is there something wrong with my system?

I could lower the dropouts radically by using the beta bda driver for skystar 2 (thanks to an older post by infintyloop about skystar and cpu load). Now also the clients get a better stream (still some dropouts but maybe they are network related).

The interesting thing is that the dropouts only appear in mp. I've tested some other dvb programs with sthe stable wdm drivers and they were rock stable while copying files or working on the pc.
