After upgrading to the new 1.0.2 version (from 1.0.0) i noticed whenever i play a DTS .mkv file the video will fast forward a couple seconds every 10 or so seconds. Example: when someone walking he'll do "mini-sprints" every 10 seconds. Really weird to whatch.

It happens only with files that contains DTS audio. Dolby digital (Ac3) works perfectly fine. Does anyone ever experienced the same issue? I aprecciate any help on how to solve it. Thanks.

:D

As this only happens with DTS tracks, I suggest trying a different audio filter that handles SPDIF pass-thru on your system. I had a similar issue with MPA under Win 7 where only every second 43ms SPDIF packet was send to the audio renderer on DTS tracks and only DD tracks worked fine. I switched to ffdshow and let it handle SPDIF pass-thru and the problem went away. Maybe MPA is causing a similar issue on your machine with DTS sound that screw up the sample times in some way so that they are arriving too close to the presentation time from the mixer.

try adding ac3filter to post processing, this solved my problem with dts stutter with spdif passthrough. ffdshow post processing would probably fix it too.

No go :( I tried both AC3Filter and FFDShow, neither helped. I forgot to add that the files that have an issue are ISO files. Since the Matroska Splitter automatically assigns audio & video codecs, does the post processing via MP even happen?

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Arcsoft & Windows codecs. I have had NO luck with Cyberlink codecs and Windows 7, so they are not installed.

Edit: Is there any way to tell the Matroska Splitter which audio codec's to use?

After playing around with this (a lot) I finally figured out the issue. I added AC3Filter to the Post Processing and in the AC3Filter properties, I changed the output to No Change and it finally worked! I never could get FFDShow to work properly... But its working now, thanks for the advice guys!

What motherboard (or really what realtek sound chip)? Had the same problem - ac3 filter took care of it! Although every now and then it will crop up. A reboot of the pc usually fixes it.
