Dear Gurus,
I am using MP 1.1.0 Final with an Alcor DTV Duo tuner - a USB DVB-T device built around the ITE Tech AF9010 chip with dual tuner support ( ITE Tech. Inc. ).
The software supplied with it is TotalMedia 3.5.
Under TotalMedia, both tuners work as expected. You can use both tuners as you normally would - watch one while recording another, or PiP two programs on the screen at once.
In MediaPortal, however, I can only use one of the tuners at a time. They are shown as two separate tuners in TV Server. I can scan and find channels on both. I can start Timeshift or Recording on any of the tuners (there is a bi-color LED that shows which tuner is in use), but not both at the same time. If I have timeshift running on the first tuner, then starting another timeshift on the second tuner, then the first would stop timeshifting.
Has anybody seen anything like this? Is it a MediaPortal issue at all?
Cheers,
d3ca
