Hello everyone!
My problem isn't directed directly at MP so i'm not including all details, I hope someone at this forum is using a similar dual/multi/double FloppyDTV setup and can guide me in the right direction regarding install.
I have been using FloppyDTV for a while and I wanted dual tuner capability so i bought two new FloppyDTV S2 cards.
I'm testing the cards with the included DTV viewer software that should be able to test the dual tuners.
I haven't had any success so far.
I have tested each card with a sat feed individually and they can both record/timeshift. But when they're both installed only one of the cards seem to work. They both get a sat feed.
(I have also tested this via the TVServer software from MP, and when i look at the Manual section, where timeshifting/recording can be tested, it's always only one of the cards that is used for recording/timeshifting, and both cards are visible in the config, and I have mapped all channels to both cards.)
I have both tried to use the passthrough firewire setup and also connected each card to a dedicated firewire port.
when recording via the Viewer and changing channel I get this error:
"All capable DVB adapters are busy.
no free device has been found"
This just seems very strange since the DTV info app can see both tuners!?
I'm wondering if there's a special way to install 2 cards? I have tried to install each at a time in my Windows XP box, and also tried to install them both at once and let the drivers take care of X 2 in one go, same result.
here's some info:

So i need some help on how to correctly setup two cards and how to configure them to work as dual tuner, so i can record and view two channels at a time.
I hope it's not rude to post this question here at the MP forum.
I can tell you that I'm using MP and are in the process of setting up a server/client system and it works great the thing I miss is the dual tuner capabilities. I hope I can make the FlioppyDTV setup work so i can get back to focusing on MP instead.
Thank you ( I have also posted a support request at firedtv.com but they're usually very slow at responding)
Regards
Nick
BTW: I'm using a Sat with a universal Quad LNB, and with a SmartWi wireless cardsplitter (have tested it for each card and it works) - Provider is Canal Digital.
Regarding the cabling from the Sat, i have 1(one) cable from one of the LNB's and then it's splitted via a 1<>4 splitter, the guy at the satellite store said this would be fine, maybe he was wrong. But anyway the channels used for testing are all on Horizontal, freq 11229 so if there's a problem with only using 1 LNB then I assumed it would take care of that.
Thanks again.
