Hi,

First of all, I've got MP up and running. No problems so far.
I have a Dual monitor setup with two 19'' Monitors. I have extended the desktop.
If I start MP fullscreen it runs fine, but as soon as I click something on other screen, MP minimizes itsself.
Is it possible to watch MP fullscreen on one monitor and work on the other ? ( or watch it windowed with a window size of 1280x1024 --> if so, how do I do this )

I hope someone can help !

Hi Same issue here.
I re-installed my PC today with new Win 7 and a frest MP install, and ran into the same problem, Just one day ago I had Mediaportal 1.1.0 RC1 installed also on win 7, and it worked fine, could work on the second screen while MP was running with a Video in full screen, whitout any problems.
I have been using MP for a few years now, and haven't had any issues with it before, so it might be an issue with win 7 and MP 1.1.0 RC 1

I figured it out !

It's got something to do with the codecs you select in the 'MP-configuration Codecs menu'.

I switched the default codecs from ( MPC decoder ( gabest )) to the FFshow codec for most of the TV/DVD/VIDEO and the problem was gone.
Seems the default codecs work in a different way then the FFshow codecs.
I used the codecPack called 'Kazaa Lite Codec pack', but you could also use the one from this forum. (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codecs-external-players-55/saf-v4-00-stable-standalone-filters-dxva-ready-h-264-vc-1-a-44614/

Could you try and let us know if it worked ?
