Background: My Motherboard blew up the other day (faulty old capacitors!). I have since bought the exact same model and replaced it. All went well, Windows booted up fine, no need to reinstall or change anything as I swapped out with the same motherboard.

I may have put the TV cards back in a different order to what they were in originally, so this may be the cause.

I now have all my TV cards duplicated in the TV Server setup. so I have 8 or so cards shown instead of the 4.

How do I go about sorting this? Is there an easy/obvious answer? (If not i'll leave it as is and hope a clean install when 1.1 is out sorts it).

I'm guessing the cards are stored in the database somewhere, and not dynamically listed based on actual hardware in the system? so the 'old' cards are still there.

OK I realised that when some cards were selected the "Remove" button became active. So I removed these. I assume all the cards that didnt enable the Remove button were the real cards.

Unfortunately nothing in the Wiki/Guide about the "Remove button.. so i took the risk :p

    Hi!
im not shure if this is the same problem?

Did a clean install of mp 1.1 RC1 and that includes a clean db.

After a while I have two new tv-cards under "manual" as shown in picture. They are not listed under TV-server.

I have not checked db yet, according to gibman it should be under *from cards

My cards were listed under the tvserver setup bit - pressing remove on all the removable cards seemed to have worked.

Replacing this motherboard was a lot less hassle than I imagined! (except for windows activation over the phone - which took ages!!)

Great to have my TV Server back working again :D

    I was wrong!

In my case the noname-cards where located under "TV-server", and I could delete them. No idea why this happened though??
