I just recently moved from Linux/MythTV to MediaPortal because of hardware upgrade, and I must say that I'm positively surprised about the quality and user experience that MP provides. Thumbs up for that to the developers :)

The only problem remaining in my system is that DVB-C EPG data is not refreshed automatically. I've configured about 40 channels from 9 different transponders. Most of these channels are encrypted and I have Conax in my FireDTV.

It seems that free-to-air channels here in Tampere/Finland TTV network provide EPG data up to 7-10 days. The problem is that EPG grapper gets data from the network for encrypted channels only for about 8 hours and I'm unable to set the grabber to perform refresh automatically.

So basically every time if I wish set recordings from EPG to my encrypted channels or data for free-to-air channels ends, I need to go TV server setup and click refresh EPG manually -> not so good.

In TV server settings there are values for EPG grabber refresh and timeout. I've tested different values numerous times with no luck, the EPG just won't fill up.

Any ideas how to set up this. Hope I didn't miss any trivial FAQs or previous posts concerning this, but if so, pls point it out to me. THX for the help.
