I have set up media portal, and tv server on my network.

When I log onto my server I can scan my DVB-C card with DVBPROG and get all the channels there should be, but when I scan the same frequency and symbol rate, I get nothing, in fact I dont even getthat now, the program now crasshes. It didnt before it would tell me that it cant find anything.

Check your other DVB software does not have any background services that use the DVB-C card. - Recording Scheduler maybe?

I once did a scan with VMC and afterwards nothing could use my card (vista had "grabbed " the card and wouldnt let anything else use it) - even though the scan failed

*I now turn all Vista MC services off in services.msc (and a reg hack to stop remote starting any Media centre stuff up)

NB I have a TT-1501.

NB If you cannot fix the crashing problem and you want to re-install, you must delete the Database . (The SQL setup will appear when you uninstall- login and delete) otherwise you may start up with all the same problems

NB Why are you using RC4? Mp 1.0.0.0 is out. Runs lovely look

I've got what ever the latest one is, just downloaded everything new, just havent updated my profile.

You have TT 1501 also, what cable are you using, PM answer if you need to.

Also mine is real choppy, to the point where you cant watch TV
