I have this problem, that the EPG grapper that runs as a part of MediaPortal itself, only graps the first line (as least it looks like that) of the program description. It does not always grap the description at all.

When I start the TV-Server Configuration program and go to the Grapper page and click the button 'Refresh DVB EPG' then that Grapper gets the entire description.

One example is that tonight there is a american move on DR1 called Nadia and the description grapped by Mediaportal itself is (translated in to english):

American romantic comedy from 1987.

After clicking the 'Refresh DVB EPG' button the description is:

American romantic comedy from 1987.
Nadine and Veron are getting merried ....

A long description comes.

To me it looks like the EPG Grapper in MediaPortal itself is just grapping the description up to the first NewLine/CR and drops the rest.

Can anybody help?

I only use the DVB EPG Grapper, XML TV is not used at all!!

Best regards
Jesper

I'm having the same problem. If I remember correctly this was fixed in some earlier version, prior to 1.0.0.0 I think. I'm using the same version as JesperW 1.0.2.0 but I had this error in 1.0.1.0 as well.

I will run a test to produce a good epg.log to post later. Jesper, perhaps you have a log also? I think the developers want's it.

Kind regards
