We can use broadcast IP address of network interface instead of unicast in the URL. As far as I know providers usually have some pool of IP addresses with some base address and network mask, so all these IP addresses have same broadcast address. On the channels scanning stage we insert in URLs broadcast address as udp://my.broadcast.address@239.23.0.5:1234/ on the channel tuning stage we just change in URL broadcast address to active IP address for network interface with same broadcast address.
