DVB-S channel frequency change problem.. please help. (CanalDigital,TV2, Norway) (1 Viewer)

CanalDigital, TV2 (norway) changes frequency these days:

New information:
TV2 (N)
Service_id (SID) =1508
TS_id (TID,StreamID)= 1
11.247V (Thor5 C03)
SR=24.500
FEC=7/8

Please see three attachments
old.png - shows the satellite data of the channel that will stop transmitting.
new.png - data about the new one
screenshot.png is my old, working config.

I change frequency to 11247000 , Symbolrate to 24500 , InnerFEC to 7/8
I did not know what to to with "TS_ID" , but tried to put it in "transport ID"-field , bu still no joy.

Please help me do it right.

Update your sat xml in TVServer config folder \MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbs with new frequency symbolrate,polarisation etc and then rescan channels

I am afraid that will mess up my current channels/mapping - or will it not ?

It might but only new, not all channels.
second way you can do manual search of that single transponder if you are using latest version of MP 1.1 beta + svns.

I resently did a full scan to get some radio channels and TV2 updated. Suddenly tv2 stopped working.
Did you figure out how to get tv2 to work on the new frequency?

I just rescanned the channels.
I tried to avoid that because I've also found that when rescanning, my channel group gets messed up.
The default channel-group is the name of the provider - mine was Telenor.

By creating a new group (named "Default") - I can rescan from now on as much as I need, because the "default" group won't be messed up. "Telenor" group is, and I just add the working channel to my "default" group.

I have such a "default" channel group aswell, and I rescan tv and radio channels every once and a while. I have never had any problems with that until now. The "TV 2 Norge" channel just stopped working. Rescanning did not help. The only way I could get it working again was to manually add the channel and type in all the attributes... troublesome!

strange, I had trouble configuring in manually, while rescan worked just fine.
I assume you tried the TV2 that appeared in the "Telenor" category after scan ?

BTW: I remember that I deleted all channels in "telenor" before scanning, - to avoid keeping some of the rubbish channels if they were discontinued. - maybe deleting will do the trick ?
Also; remeber to download new frequency-lists for the satellite.
