When my system has resumed from stanby and I want to watch a DVB-S channel, I get a message "Unable to start timeshift, Unable to start graph".
I have attached 2zip files with logs, one file is when its not working and the other is after restarting the tvservice (works then).

    How I retreived the logs:

    1-cleaned all logs
2-started MP and tuned to a channel - NOT WORKING
3-made a backup of the logs
    4-restart tvservice
    5-cleaned all logs
6-started MP and tuned to a channel - WORKING
7-made a backup of the logs

notice the absent from streamingserver log when its not working.

I'm using single seat, it happens both from within MP and tvserver config.

But my bug has nothing to do with what you showed...

It seems that getting the PMT failed and a timeshift file doesn't get created, so the error message pops up. After restarting the tvservice it works first time.

Are you using some CAM? Maybe its not initialized properly when resuming from the standby. Floppy itself should work nicely with standby (works for me and for many other team members.)

No, I'm using a CAM with DVB-C wich works OK after standby, but I'm not using a CAM with DVB-S.

    It's a FloppyDTV-S2 and a FireDTV-C....

Can you find the problem? Do I need to do some more testing, or are the logs sufficient?

    Thanks in advance

Does the software which came with the card work okay after standby?

I never used FireDTV Viewer, but I imagine that it wouldn't happen because I would use that different.

Shutdown App, then go to standby, wake up and start up app

With TVservice its a different story, the service keeps running.

But if I restart the service it works OK, so its not hardware related I think (would probably need a reboot in that case)

The strange thing is that with the FireDTV-C the problem is not happening.

I run a batch file to stop service when resuming and then restart, have required this with both skystar 2 cards and pinnacle dvb-s. I believe that powerscheduler should have the option "stop service on standby" and "restart sevice on resume" I think it could simply solve many issues.

I think I found the problem, I'm not using PowerScheduler anymore, but ForTheRecord.

I never needed the option to Reinitialize the service with only FireDTV-C, but now I have also an FloppyDTV-S I have to.

So I checked Reinitialize service in the Fortherecord plugin and I think it solved my problem, will have to do some more checking and testing before saying its completely OK.

I'm getting some funky EPG guide problems now......
