Hello,
Had a search and couldn't find any request or feature like this mentioned before, so here goes.
I recently swapped my single lnb for a quad, so I have to tweak my alignment as i think the lnb arm as sagged a bit and i've lost some signal.
I noticed that MP is able to take both signal strength and quality readings from my card (a TwinHan DVB-T 878 on BDA drivers). I can't really use this for tweaking though, as it's only displayed during scans when running through the transponders, and I need it fixed to one and updating itself often.
So, could there be a 'signal meter' feature on the auto-tune panel? I could then pick transponders from the list for the satellite i've selected previously, and use that to get the alignment spot on. I'm aiming at Astra 2a/b/d, so would like to be able to switch between transponders from each satellite for each polarity to make sure i've got it right.
If it's there already and I've missed it, then I apologise. I did look quite hard, though maybe not right under my nose.
EDIT: What I want is nearly in DVBStreamAnalyser, but for some reason it logs an error trying to read the signal quality, unlike the ultra-compatible MP...
