Hi there,

I am looking for a DVB-T card/dongle/box that requires the least strongest signal to function and works well with media portal.

Currently I have a Compro T200 and it has problems with signal even though my freeview box doesn't (using the same aerial)

Thanks.

Yeah I did have a Hauppage Nova-T that worked nearly flawlessly, but last time I tried it - it wasn't supported with media portal?

I am only about 8-10 miles from the crystal palace transmitter.

What specific card are you using?

T500 running under vista, which just to emphasise does not have the standby\resume problems that XP has.

No problems with MP standalone or TVE3.

Strange about your Nova-T, because AFAIK it has been one of the main DVB cards supported by MP from way back when.

Thanks - I believe the issue was that i had an old version of the Nova-T that wasn't supported.

in your opinion is it better to get an external usb2 tuner card/box/dongle than internal? - are tey any better at picking up the signal.
