Hi

I'm having trouble with getting subtitles on my DVB-T programs
Here in Denmark we have 3 DVB-T channels at the time being

On the first (DR2) the subtitles works fine al the time, on the second (TV2) the subtitles are only pressent in some programs and on the third (DR1) there are no subtitles at all

I have tryed messing with the subtitles configuration in my decoder ffdshow and in MP it self - buy it mages no difference at all

Can any one guide me on how to set my system up to get subtitles on all channels

First, DVB subtitles are presented by MP itself and has nothing to do with ffdshow, vobsub or the like.
Second, TV subtitles (DVB and teletext) are enabled in MP configuration under Television -> TV client -> Subtitle settings (TV-Server is a requirement). Remember to add danish under preferred languages.

Actually, I realize that subtitles show when I watch TV, but they dissapear from recordings. I run a multiseat installation.

Maybe this is a little off topic, but are there a way, were you can see the DVB-subtitels on another mediaplayer, ex. windows mediaplayer?
Are there a way to make a DVD, with subtitels on?

    Hello JMB,

Like you, I can't get the subtitles to work. Did you make any progress?

    Better late than never :D

Yes I have. It was because I used the internal TV engine in MP
As soon as I installed the TV server every thing worked fine
