Do you have any recomendation for a dvb-t card with CI-slot that works with MP?
DVB-T2 would be nice, but a requirement.

I've found some cards on german sites, but no drivers for win7.
I've also understood that there are many issues with CI-slot management in MP.

Hauppage is NOT of interest.

I've found Twinhan VP-3030 but will it work on Win7/MP?

I'm curious what makes you think this. :)

Back on topic: such tuners aren't particularly common possibly because DVB-T networks are mostly open networks. Three suggestions for you to look at:

    1. Some people that use the Technotrend CT-3650 CI although I'd be a little hesitant to recommend it as some people have reported problems with it.
    2. Spragleknas has been testing the Twinhan/Azurewave TP-300 recently -->here<-- - seems like it is relatively cheap and does work. Keep in mind that Twinhan is likely out of business now so you'd be looking on Ebay and there would be no support from the manufacturer.
    3. The Terratec H7. I haven't heard too many reports about this one. It *may* be a CT-3650 clone.

I've read the code, special handling of CI-stuff for different systems.

This is not true in Scandinavia :-(

It looks like Terratec H7 is the only way to go, if I want it running on Windows 7 x64.
The other cards are not stable, or no driver available for Win7 x64.

    Thank you.

Interesting: what about the code makes you think it is unstable? This is the way it must be done as each manufacturer has a different interface.

The code is not unstable. It's the fact that we have to make specialcode for different manufacturers that buggers me..
If I get a card with CI, that's not supported by MP. Then what?

All software is in the same position. DVBViewer, ProgDVB, DVBDream... everyone. Blame Microsoft for not adding official interfaces in the TV BDA interfaces.

If I get a card with CI, that's not supported by MP. Then what?
Then you either ask the manufacturer for their interface documentation (also known as an SDK or API) so that we can add support for it, or you send it back and get another one.

I have a Technotrend CT-3650 CI however I haven't used the CI slot yet. It comes with Windows 7 drivers so if you are looking for a cheaper solution than the Terratec then you should consider this as well (I'm running Windows 7 x64) - at least don't rule it out based on the false information above that it does not have any Windows 7 drivers.

Do you have the possibility to try your Technotrend CT-3650 with a CAM?

Unfortunately not - right now I'm using it to connect to my cable provider's unencrypted DVB-C service. I bought this unit because if I move then I might need to use a card to get access to some channels using DVB-T however this won't be happening anytime soon.
