DVD Menu not coming up..... (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone!

I just installed MediaPortal today and have been slowly getting it setup. I came across an issue today that I just can't figure out. I am using a Harmony Remote Model 880 that is essentially a clone of my StreamZap remote. When I play DVD's from within Media Portal during play back I hit the Menu button and MediaPortal will not bring up the DVD Menu. Every other function seems to work perfectly.

I have searched high and low for some way to echo this command thru the remote menus but I can't seem to figure out how to get this to work. The Streamzap remote is pretty much an MCE remote except it comes with factory sofware to allow you to program the coloured buttons. I just can't figure out why the Menu button doesn't seem to want to respond.

Can any of you guys shed any light? This is my last hurdle with this install and I have to say I'm really impressed with how nice this software is.

The DVD menu comes up on keyboard using the 'D' key. You should be able to program the Harmony to issue the D stroke for that button.

This is turning out to not be as easy as I thought. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to issue a keystroke to the Harmony remote. The odd thing is that the StreamZap remote I have says its compatible with MediaPortal so one would have thought they would have assigned the menu key on that remote to do this. I have tried a few 3rd party apps that I can program the keystroke into (LM Remote) and it does fix the DVD menu issue but then there are other things that don't work within Media Portal.

I might just have to live with it this way unless anyone knows of an easy way to pass a keystroke.
