Hello,

I'm not a real DVD watcher, but now and then I or some of my family wants to watch a DVD.
It doesn't really matter if it's a downloaded or original version, but most of the DVD's have very slow and unresponsive DVD menu's.

I tried several things and I think it has something to do with the DVD navigator.
I installed LAV and SAF en tried different codecs for MPG-2 playback. PowerDVD Video SP seems to work the best.
Also disabling hardware acceleration for menu's seems to work better but I always keep DVD's which just don't play smooth. Well, the movie plays fine, if I get there, but it is often trouble with the menu.

I wondered if other people experience the same problems and if not, what codecs they use for DVD playback (all other video's play perfect)

I'm running MePo 1.8.0 on windows 8

I have the same issue with MediaPortal 1.13.0, LAV Filters 0.67.0 in Windows 7.
