Hey all,

Ive started having issues with my Mediaportal build recently and I could swear its relatively new, but here goes:

Setup is Mediaportal 1.0.2.0, AMD 7750, 2gb memory.
Using ffdshow to upscale my dvds to 720p and as my dvd codec in mediaportal configuration.

I start playing a DVD and it works beautifully, but after about 20 minutes (whether I skip, pause - irrespective), the DVD starts stuttering badly - audio is fine but the video is horrendeously stuttering, ie like every 5th frame... I can then pause, rewind, stop, restart etc - doesnt matter - as soon as I start playing the DVD again the stuttering is still there. I can wait for 30 seconds and play the DVD again - stuttering remains. I have to actually EXIT Mediaportal and go back in when I play the DVD then, all is fine for another 20 minutes.

Ive switched back to MPC codec and turned off ffdshow completely cause I thought it was cpu usage (which Ive tested and it runs consistently at about 50%). that didnt work.

So can someone PLEASE give me some advice. Ive tried about 15 different DVDs and all present the same problem - about 15-20 minutes into playing, whether I start playing they all start to stutter and I have to actually restart mediaportal to make it work properly again... even stopping the DVD, waiting a few minutes and starting again has no effect, whether I resume or start from beginning. Also, any other dvd I put in and try to play also stutters. Its as if Mediaportal decides "Im gonna stutter from this point on for any dvd until you restart me" and thats it, hehe. I have an nvidia 8300 motherboard that I use with latest drivers for all...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
Regards,
D
