DVD Subtitles Problem (1 Viewer)

I hope you don't mind that im not using the template... but hey, this is just a general question

I've noticed on some DVD'S played via media portal, automatically display subtitles.
(I have the force subtitles option in the settings turned off though)

Pressing the yellow button (mce remote) begins to change the language... however, again only on some DVD's it just cycles between the languages, and never gives the option to turn off the subtitles althogether!

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a bug? Im unsure, as it only happens on certain movies.
ps - Im running the latest release of MP (no svn builds)

You can press the 'L' Key on a keyboard to switch the subtitles on and off. Not sure where it is mapped on a MCE remote.

Wow! That easy huh! I don't have a keyboard plugged into my Media Centre PC... however I administer it remotely (ultravnc) - and just gave it a try... works perfectly to toggle the titles on or off!

to add the "L" button to the remote?!
( it can be done in the setup in remote. its the " show subtitle" action )
add it im MCE to one of the buttons you want and as condition DVD is playing.

Should do it.

Awesome! I mapped the 'show subtitle' toggle... to the yellow button, as its default function of switching subtitle languages was never used by me anyway!

Thanks people, the dilema of not being able to switch off subtitles had been annoying me for ages... but not any more!
