When playing a DVD the subtitles kept turning themselves on every so often. I think they kept coming on everytime the DVD progressed to the next chapter.

Did you unselect the option in the DVD settings? I think the "show subtitles"-option is checked as "yes" by default.

Ok - who is a n00b! I didn't realise it could be set as default from within MediaPortal. I just presumed it would only be on when I selected them from the DVD menu.
