Anyone who is using a DVI out to their TV, turns the TV off for long periods of time (hours), and has a 9x00 series ATI card please reply (leave your driver version at least)...

When I turn my TV off (Samsung 42" DLP Projection) for a while and try to turn it back on all I get is a BLANK screen unless I remote in and change the resolution (or probably do anything video card related) to like kick the DVI port back on. I have had this problem before but haven't a clue how I fixed it.

I have tried CCP 7.1, 5.9, and Omega drivers and they all do the same thing. What am I missing?!

Thanks!

I have the same problem. I don't have a solution, but I do have a work-around. Try to wake up the screen by moving the mouse or hitting a key. Wait for 5 minutes. Try again and this time it will wake up! Works every time for me. My video card is a Radeon X300. I'm using Catalyst driver V7.4 but this problem has been present through multiple driver upgrades.

Amazingly enough I turned my TV on today and it didn't screw up... This was after I installed CCP 7.4 but I didn't change anything wth?

I'll keep you up to date to see if it does it again. One thing I did check was the two DVI Settings and both Reduce DVI frequencey on "High-Resolution displays" and "Alternate DVI operational mode" is checked.

Then again I just opened CCP for the first time just now so we will see if it still kicked on tommorow *crosses fingers*

I changed alternative DVI and High-Freq but still nothing...

I know more of you are using DVI + ATI video cards so please respond!
