Just upgraded from Standard Engine to TV Server Engine, After Buying my new dual tuner giving me 3 channels. The new card works fine under TV engine 2, can watch one channel and record 2.Under the TV Server engine the cards are picked up and tune okay and show up in the TV Server config program. But MP will not pick up the new dual tuner card only the older single card. I also tried a client system and again the client would only pick up the older single card. I did notice that when I first got my card under TV Engine 2 I had to upgrade mp SVN because the dual card was picked up as a bluebird(and this did not work). After I upgraded it showed as a dvico avs stream capture and did work. In TV Server Engine now it is again picked up as a bluebird. I may be off track but I thought I would add that. If I leave the the TV server config running it shows the cards mapping to channels under manual config but the clients dont seems to pick the dual card up. When attempting to record a channel and then changing the channel MP shut down with no error. I have returned to TV Engine 2 for the moment.

    Hi,

I'm not sure I'm following you fully, but this might help.

In "MediaPortal Setup", you should delete the cards. The new tv engine client takes over, so that if the cards are showing up correctly in the server configuration, then all is fine. The client will then connect to the cards on the server via the tv engine, so you don't also need to configure them in mediaportal.

If I've misunderstood your setup and problem, feel free to ignore me!

    Best wishes,

    Mark

you don't need to remove the cards from the client, as once you have installed the tvplugin it overides/ignores them anyway.
