Hi,

Having problems after installation getting MediaPortal to recognise my Divco FusionHDTV Pro card. Whn I go into configuration and capture cards and try to add a capture card, it reports that there are no capture cards present in my system.

I searched the forum and found a couple of references to problems with the V3.60 Divco drivers and the need to make modification to the capture card definitions xml file, but couldn't find a specific section for the Pro card, and being a noob, wasn't sure how to edit this file anyway.

Any help appreciated.

Found the section in the manual for adding capture cards. Modified the DVICO FushionHDTV Pro section as follows, but still it does not work, and when I try to add a capture card in configuration it says no capture cards were found.

<capturecard commercialname="Dvico FusionHDTV DVB-T Pro" capturename="FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture1" devid="ven_14f1&dev_8800&subsys_db3018ac&rev_05">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="tunerdevice" name="FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner1" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="capture" name="FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture1" checkdevice="false"/>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/>
<connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>

How I fixed this

Go back to old drivers (3.4) from fusionhdtv. I've got a question in with them about this at the moment.

Have you had any further luck since you asked this question?

Fixed it

Hi Me06, yes I did fix it.

The capture definition I had produced using graphedit in my previous post was correct Stupidly, I had edited the file in wordpad instead of notepad and it had placed page breaks into the file when I saved it. Discovered this because the log was showing "unrecognised character" messages as it tried to load the capture definitions.

The 3.6 drivers from Divico are working fine for me. You should be able to get MP to work if you follow the process outlined in the documentation for adding new capture card definitions.
