I have just bought the Dvico HDB-T lite card because I read that it was compatible with MP. I've been able to set up the TV ok, but am having dificulty working out how to use more than just the basic remote commands (up, down, L, R, ok).

For example, how do I go back a menu and what's the equivalent of a right mouse button click.

Do I use Fusion's remote config app or is this a setting in MP?

I read somewhere about fusion having an MCE profile in the remote config app but that's not acually there, is this even important?

Also tried a previous release of fusion as it was suggested that the newer one could be an issue - but still no luck.

i found the best solution was to get a MCE remote its supported and works great in MP , and its only like 40 bucks or something. That way everything works and you dont' have to worry about the fusion remotes, i haven't used mine that came with the dvb-t plus card.

The Solution:
(without buying an MCE remote)

First I used this link:
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/KeyboardShortcuts
to learn the keyboard shortcuts for MediaPortal.

Then I right clicked the Fusion Remote Icon in the taskbar and selected "Configure"
There I was able to add a new profile which I called "MediaPortal' and using the customize feature I was able to map each of the keyboard shortcuts to a button on the fusion remote.

Really quite simple.

There's also a PDF manual for the remote available here:
http://demod.dvico.com/Manual/FusionHDTV/FusionRemote_Eng.pdf
which I found very useful.
