Firstly, great job to everyone involved in this project best media centre I have seen.

I am trying to setup MP with my newly purchased Leadtek DVT1000T (firmwareX.X.X.3128 latest). Seems like a great product, but refuses to work with media portal. Everytime I add it to the capture cards using the setup tool I get unable to create graph.

I have noticed that a number of other people have had simliar issues but have been able to resolve it by modifying capturecards.xml or changing drivers. None of these things seem to have had any affect.

ScanChannel.exe works fine as shown below. And I have used the updated capturecards.xml as shown below from someone elses post. But to no avail.

Interestingly graphedit.exe doesn't seem to work as well. It will not let me connect the antenna output of the DVBT Network Provider to the Tuner/Demod card. Says pin incompatibility.

Any one got ideas what might be going on, or how I can debug the problem further.

Thanks for any help provided! Paul:)

I've had the same problem in the past. I had upgraded my hard drive and when installing the card, I skipped the application that came with the card and installed only the drivers. I could only get the card to work with mediaportal after I installed the entire winfast tv application.

Hope this helps.

Bagnol.

I don't know if this is relevant, but the device ID of your TV card seems to be listed as

    ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_665f1 07d&rev_05

but is shown in the CaptureCardDefinitions file as

    ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_665F107D&a mp;rev_05

try correcting that dev ID to

    ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_665f107d&rev_05

Notice the change of case of some of the letters (F and D) and the space removed from "a mp"

Hi Bagnol, thanks for your idea. Unfortunately WinFast is the only way that the card currently works at the moment.

Hi Taipan, sorry I think I pasted in an old version on the capturecards.xml. I noticed the same problem with the space and upper case letters and fixed it as you suggested and it made no difference. The card is detected and it does get the information from the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml and file and creates the capturecards.xml. It simply says it cannot create the graph?
