DXVA with subtitle mediaportal in windows xp with nvidia 9600gt (1 Viewer)

im new to htpc and mediaportal thing. currently i am able to play media with dxva using k-lite codec 5.0.5. i was just wondering, is it possible to play fullhd media with subtitle using dxva in mediaportal? if so, how? i have google for the past few days and either the solution outdated, doesnt work or im too noob to understand.

please help. i am at the edge of ditching htpc altogether. thanks.

    Hi and welcome to the forum, publicENEMY:)
    As you know, k-lite is only a codec pack. I wasn't even aware of that it included DXVA capable codecs...

    The latest stable version of MP (1.0.2) does not have DXVA subs, unless you apply a patch found @ forums (I'll dig up the link later if you can't find it), but from 1.1 alpha, DXVA subs are implementet using MPC-HC filters. This work very well, but you do need DXVA capable codecs as well.

    An easy way to achieving this is by using SAF found @ these forums.
