Hi
I am a bit worried that my EB1501 is overheating. I think the fan a bit louder than I would expect and once in a while it accelerates to higher rates than is tolerable in a livingroom.
I then saw a review where they said that the fan controller was supported by speedfan. I immediately installed speedfan in order to lower the fan speed, but to my surprise the GPU was running at 72 degrees celsius and system temperature was around 55 degrees celcius. This was approx. 10 degrees more in idle than the measured temperatures in the test in the review at full load.
I am thinking about opening the box and ensuring the fan/heatsink is properly mounted with enough thermal paste. But before I do (and void warranty) I just wanted to hear if anybody else has an idea how hot their EB1501 is.
Best regards
Martin
