Echostar 119W Scans with signal but zero Channels (1 Viewer)

I am scanning 119W Echostar aka Dishnetwork in North America. I have a Dishpro (bandstacked) ini file. I modified the echostar 7 .tpl slightly to account for a dishpro 500 lnb. I also tried with the original *.tpl with the same negative result.

Also I have a file "TwinhanWDM.ddp" that I got from DVBN forums, because the LOF for LNB1 needs to be 11250 not 10600.

The scanning bars show it getting signal strength and quality, but zero channels are added. I have seen a post that blames the wrong LOF as the culprit, but with this plugin cures that and still zero channels.

Please fix this promptly so that North America can use your promising software. That is potentially a lot of new users. Please see attatched log files. Thanks.

The MPSA needs to be re-written... someone in the forums just posted about it. There are several posts about this issue.. and most of them are from me.

Thanks for the info ASiDiE. I did a search on "MPSA" and found some good stuff. It looks Like the problem has been around for a while, but now it looks as if a1jatt has volunteered to work on this. Very good news indeed.

Taipan...Thanks for the warm welcome to Media Portal forums. I did say please after all.

a1jatt... if the MPSA... is not a part of the new tv engine.. which I thought it did... are you making any progress in getting dish to work in the new TV engine? Right now we are missing some importaint frequencies to be set in the new TV engine. We don't use a tone switch so 22khz does not need to be there.. and our frequency is 11250 and not 10500... like is set at default. This is all in the mantis and am hoping it will be fixed soon.
