I'll try and take a lòk at other sources. Currently it's using TheGamesDB which I'm not sure provides info in other languages, it's also been very slow for a while now so might need to find an alternative source anyway.

Yes right. TheGamesDB is one of the slowest site i know. The existing data are good, but the database is too small (i think). For Example: mobygames is 10 times greater than thegamesdb. The problem: No site has an unique ID for every, like the imdb-number. So i think it is difficult to switch between different services.

I don't know if every site as an API for external usage. Perhaps this short list is a first help for you

Hi.
You can try the attached version. It's not "official" and probably not all skin files are adjusted nicely, but it should work with 2.1

Hi Lehmden, thanks for the upload.

The Emulators appear in the plugins menu, i am able to configure emulators (cores etc, and add media sources for each individual emulator. However even though importing looks good from the media sources menu nothing appears in the games menu.

I have tried restarting the service, re-adding emulators and sources and different skins. I am using the latest preview of MP2.1

Can you think of anything that would be stopping the games showing up?

Hi.
Seems as if you are right. I'm not using Emulators as I don't play that much. I have tested the plugin with MP 2.1 Pre 1 and there it was working. But now with Pre 2 there are errors while importing the games:

For me emulators works with latest MP2.1 version. Just the Farart problem is still available. It would be really better to switch to another online source or as for refer to several sources in parallel.

I'll try and take a look into the above.
Unfortunately TheGamesDB seems to have had issues for some time now, I'll need to add support for other games APIs which won't be a quick job.

New version available using download link in first post. TheGamesDb issues will still be present but a quick test didn't show up any other issues.

The version in the first post has imported the games and they now show up

I can't seem to get any sound from any emulators or games though. The video plays fine, nice and smooth on all games and emu's but nothing can be heard.
