Hi, Here is the information requested in the template. Please ask me any more information you need :) I probably can compile/test CVS versions, if necessary. Area: Media Portal Program MP Version: 2.0.0 RC 1 Skin: default Widnows Version: Win XP Home, SP2 + all updates CPU Type: Athlon XP 2000+ Memory: 512MB Motherboard Chipset: VIA266KT (I think) Video Card: ATI 9200SE, 64MB RAM Video Card Driver: 6.14.10.6575 (newest) Video Card Resolution: 1600x1200, DVI Video Render Type: both VMR9 + Overlay Audio Codec Type & Version: Lingos MPEG Audio Decoder (same results with all decoders though) Audio Codec Type & Version: Lingos MPEG Video Decoder (same results with all decoders though) TV Card: EMuzed Maui IIS PCI PVR, rev b1 TV Card Type: hardware TV Card Driver: 1.0.2.124 (gotten from: http://www.lumanate.com/maui.htm) Optional Log: Included below Synopsis: First, there was a small bug in the entry for my card in CaptureCardDefinitions.xml. The card identifies itself as "Emuzed Maui 2S Device", not "Emuzed Maui SE Device". I edited the following line: <capturecard commercialname="Emuzed Maui IIS PCI PVR" capturename="Emuzed Maui SE Device" devid="ven_123f&dev_8120&subsys_00071809&rev_b1"> to be <capturecard commercialname="Emuzed Maui IIS PCI PVR" capturename="Emuzed Maui 2S Device" devid="ven_123f&dev_8120&subsys_00071809&rev_b1"> This probably should be updated in the release version... Given this definition, the 1.3 release version (which also has the wrong definition) works like a charm (though I can't resize the window while playing media, or it crashes, but I think that's a well known bug - I found reports on the forums and I'd like to try version 2.0 which probably has it fixed :) ) Now, on to the actual problem :) Version 2.0 flatly refuses to use my tuner. When I go to Setup->Television->Capture Cards and click add, I get the following error message "Unable to create graph for this device!!". Then the regular "Edit properties of yoru TV card" window pops up with all the information filled in correctly. When I later try to edit the card, it doesn't pop the message up, but it doesn't allow me to Autotune. Obviously, watching TV in the actual program doesn't work either. Below is a part of MediaPortal.log that I think is relevant to this problem, captured from the Setup program: (more info below this log) I also checked, and I can view videos in the 2.0 RC version, so the problem seems to definitely be with the tuner. For your reference, I thought I'd also include a log from doing the exact same thing with version 1.3, so you can compare and have an easier time figuring out where the problem is arising. This is the same computer, with all the same drivers/codecs, etc. I uninstalled the 2.0 version, deleted the directory, installed a fresh copy of 1.3, edited CaptureCardDefinitions.xml and ran Setup. Thnx for any help you can give. Michal
