I just purchased an ENLTV-FM for my little brother. It works, and with decent quality, but as one can imagine the software it came with sucks. Worse yet, it's software encoding and Media Portal doesn't support it.. or rather even know it's there. I read up on how to submit it for support but I can't find anything related to the company in the filters section.

Also Encore appears to have modded Super TV Pro to have the name ENLTV as the programs name.

Anyone have a suggestion or two?

Yeah put it in the bin and buy a H/W Encoding TV Card such as a Hauppauge PVR-150

I honestly see nothing related to ENLTV, Encore, or Super TV Pro in any of the sections. Am I missing something?

Umm, dman_lfc is trying to say that you need to follow the instructions in that link he posted just above in order to get your software card supported. I don't see where the confusion comes from.

    Well

Maybe I'm not making myself clear, I've read those intructions.. and I CAN'T FIND THE FILTERS! It's like what it's telling me to find isn't there at all. Do you understand now?

I'm not trying to be rude here, I'm just asking if anyone knows how to better find what I need to find.

Did you following the link under step 1.? That post describes how to provide DMAN what he needs: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=5054

You will find in that posting:
What do we need from you ?
    - a screenshot of graphedit showing all filters for your card
    - the filter moniker strings & filter names

How do you get this information?
    .
    .
    .

    Does that help?

Been there, done that. I have graphedit... i just can't find what I need when I go to the filters section. I know what he wants, but I can't find it in any of the filter sections.

Edit: "3. In the list locate all filters for your TVcard " I can't seem to find them.

    Yeah, it is a pain

I've been working on getting this piece of equipment to work, and it is not easy, let me tell you.

The card is listed under graphedit as 713x 3 TV Card Capture, the Crossbar is 713x 3 TV Card Crossbar, and the input tuner is PhTVTune.

I have so far been able to get the video working, kinda....(The video will work in graphedit, but not MediaPortal thusfar, but the card is now being detected)

However, the audio is a different matter.

Since the Audio is being run thru your own audio card from the capture card, the ENLTV software is doing something wierd which I've yet to figure out.

(Since this card doesn't have hardware encoding...this might be a pain, but perhaps we'll figure it out.)
