    Hi,

i don't know whether it's a bug or a feature but i have noticed that MePo 1.1 RC2 behaves different then previous version when entering standby.
When i want to enter standby with the button in the power-menu (i have mapped a key on the remote) on the home-screen when TV or radio is running then tv/radio stops playing but the HTPC keeps running. To enter standby i have to press the button twice. In older version the HTPC entered standby instantly.

I have no problem when running TV/Radio prevents standby but then trying to enter standby should not stop the player.

Apart from that RC2 is running flawlessly:D

    Logs are attached;)

    best regards, Wolfgang

During your first attempt to suspend (tv sever log):
    Code:

It seems there is some network activity, so standby is aborted. I don't know why there's network activity when playing TV since this is a single seat setup, but that is the cause of the issue.

    AW: entering standby prevented

    Ok, i see.
But why is the second attempt to enter standby not prevented by the Powerscheduler Networkmonitor? Is i can see the network traffic is not tested.

It is tested, but only preventing conditions are logged. Otherwise your logs would fill up real fast.

OK than it's not a bug.
I'll try to find out what is causing the network traffic (wireshark).

    Thank you!
