EPG grabbing problems dvb-t (1 Viewer)

CPU Type: Intel Xeon 2.8ghz
Memory: 512MB
Motherboard Chipset: intel server chipset
TV Card: Hauppauge dvb-t wintv nova-t stick
TV Card Type: DVB-T
TV Card Driver: latest hauppauge.

I have an annoying problem with the tv server wheras it doesnt grap EPG data properly.

all channells are set up correctly.
but the epg never populates, i have changed the timeout to 15 minutes and the update interval to 120mins but still nothing.

my epg log goes like this:

please help im tearing my hair out, I cant even get xmltv or webepg working either due to lack of documentation.

The epg worked perfectly fine on tve2

EPG can take a hour to populate on a idling system, ie TVcards not being used.

From your log something interupted that happening.

Which version of TVE3 and MP svn are you using, because there can be code changes that break the epg download.

yea i noticed that the logs state that something interrupted it, thing is no client is connected and the status of the card just says grabbing epg.

Ive just left the system for approxximately 3 hours alone and its still not populated the EPG. I cant think of anything else it could be?

Just installed yesterdays TVE3 and MP revision 13668

Grabbed EPG in under 30 minutes.

A word of advise, EPG not done if TVE3 setup running, found that to be my experience.

Yeah, im using that version and my tve3 setup isnt running yet my epg still does not populate!?

any other ideas?

if you have setuptv open and "click around" then this is interupting the epg grab

only start the TV-Service -> enter SetupTV -> manual control -> grab EPG -> and leave it alone for ~1 hour

i would suggest to install the latest version and delete the db before -> clean installation.

I have dvb-t too, no probs with the grabber
