Hi all,
I was wondering if you could help as I'm still pretty new to HTPC.
I'm currently in the process of researching a new HTPC build and in the mean time i'm trying a setup a smilar thing on my current PC with the equipment I have.
In my current PC I have a 250PVR connected via S-video to My NTL/Virgin cable box.
I have managed to tune in the cable (s-video) channel to MP and it looks great.
But i can't get the EPG data to work or I don't know how.
I've tried using webepg.
So i went through the wiki guide and located the channel BBC1 and updated the data through the webepg.exe. When i open the tvguide.xml i can see data in there but this does not display in MP.
How can I do this?
Also this is only with one channel, but as you know there are well over a hundred channels, so how do I map them all if I only have one channel (s-video) tuned into MP?
Any ideas?
Should I do it another way?
Oh one more thing, I'm assuming if I want to program a recording at a certain time, I have to set the channel on my Cable Box to the one I want to record? Is that how you all do it?
