I am running SVN 11332 and the very Latest TV engine SVN file. I am using xmltv to download my guide. It seems to be adding extra shows inbetween some of the 30 min markers. It's best if you just look at the screen shot to know what I mean. You can actually move over to the | shows and see what they are.... they are the same show right before it... they also have the same time as the show before. Is this caused by my XML file.... or somethign within MP?

I have exactly the same problem :( It doesn't seem to happen on the channels that I'm not downloiading the xmlTVguide (using webepg) for (the programme guide seems to be coming from the DVB-T for those channels).

Does anyone know the cause of the problem? There don't appear to be duplicates in the tvguide.xml file, and the duplicates seemt o be multiplying! (I disabled webepg yesterday, emptied the tvguide.xml file and a load more duplicates have sprung up today - I've got 5 identical instances of the same show now!).

the real problem isn't that the TV guide is cluttered, but that I have two tuner cards and if I tell MP to record a programme that has duplicate tvguide data, it records the same programme with both cards. I could live with that except it means it then can't record on two different channels for me - but doesn't seem to spot the conflict either. I just find a duplicate has been recorded, not the other channel :(

Does anyone have any ideas? for now I'm going to see if the problem goes away if I just stick with the DVB programme guide - but it will take 2 weeks to flush the webepg data out of the system.

    Thanks, James.

This happens when the guild has been imported more than once... are you using the TV server?

don't think so - just the latest stable version :) It must be re-importing it from DVB-T over and over then (I emptied the tvguide.xml file). But it's only for some programmes on some channels too. Are you sure that's the cause? If so, how do I stop it? I'm happy to turn off the DVB EPG updates in the config file, but I'm now worried that it would re-import the tvguide.xml file over and over too :(

    Any thoughts?
