EPG Timeout blocks future channel grab (1 Viewer)

Now there is a previously known problem with the grab for the BBC MUX in the UK .

This is still present

BUT the main concern/problem for this particular bug is that 'timeout' on channel/frequency/mux flags the channel as updated (which it isn't ) and blocks future grabs for the channels when their information is available on other frequencies/mux.

I have waited five days for the BBC MUX channels to have EPG (on all SVN's) for this period (runing the server just for EPG) and the above blocks the grab.

Logs attached, you can see a timeout occured at 11.13 and the following grab blocks EPG update as it has flaged a successful update at 11.13 for this channel which is incorect.

Also the 'Refresh epg' buttton should idealy reset all flags/conditions to force a complete update ie ignore 'not needed lastUpdate' data.

Also EPG grab timeouts still on most UK frequencies/MUX .

TVv2 has no problems grabing from all frequencies/mux

I cannot grab EPG data with TVserver3 but MP0.2.2.0 grabs just fine. Only reason I am not moving onto server just yet.

i usually find that after 1 hour i have a full EPG except for BBC1 and BBC2. what is strange though that BBC3 has it's EPG even though that is on the same MUX as BBC1 and 2.

tve2 completes the full EPG in about 10-15 mins.

If you look through your logs you will see that the succesfull grabs for the missing channels are being discarded because the 'not needed lastUpdate' overides the update; previous TIMEOUTS on these channels have occured.

There are two new settings in the server timeouts for EPG

Increase the TIMEOUT to above 12 minutes has decreased the number of actual timeouts I get and set the REFRESH to a low setting time seems to reset the 'not needed lastUpdate' more regularly.
