as per title. I've searched the forum but can't find a solution.

It only happens on some clips/channels.
ie youtube : top rated : eminem rhianna.
This can't find the url, but other clips do. They tend to be home movies that work rather than more official looking ones. Initially I figured that it was removed from youtube for copyright issues but I can watch it via web browser.

Is there some setting that is required?

Also, is there a channel listing web/forum page ? ie a refresh of online sites that can be imported.

Thanks

Thanks for the sitemanager link.

I'll hopefully (given time) get the logs tonight but thought it may be a known issue (setting).

Cheers

attached log file.

Started mepo, navigated to online videos, selected youtube, top rated and tried to play the top row. The 'home movies' work but the others fail.

I can play them if I go to youtube so its not a codec issue.

Cheers

At first glance, I see nothing out of the ordinary, except those NullReferenceException's so:

2 questions: can you do a similar run with log verbosity (mediaportal config/general) set to debug, and which of the options did you choose when playing a youtube-video?

Cheers, I'll try to run a verbose log later.

As for option when playing, the movies that do play pop up the selection of resolution and format. I've tried all of these and they work.

The ones that don't play go straight to the URL error.

    attached debug log.

    hope this helps.

I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks so please don't think I'm ignoring any response. I appreciate the help and also hope that I can help iron out bugs within the code.

I'll check back in when I get back.
    Thanks again.

I'm back... and have now upgraded to 1.2beta

This seems to have solved some sites ie you tube videos that were 'official video' type now work.

However it hasn't solved all issues. Vimeo sites give the same URL error.
Should I recreate a new log file now I've upgraded?

    Cheers

PS I can't spot it in the config (if it's there) but is there a way to remove the multiple language list at the beginning and bypass it to go direct to english sites only list?

    a) in Groups Tab uncheck the AutoGroup by Language
    b) in Sites Tab delete all sites you don't want
