Error: Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2 with MP Testrelease 0.2 RC3 (1 Viewer)

Ive had some problems in getting the latest version of MP to work with Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2.

The remote controller worked fine, but i could not get the TV-Tuner to work with the MP Testrelease 0.2 RC3. My problem was that I could not configure the capture card setting, since it did not show up when adding new card.

I have also tried using the card with MP 0.2 RC2, where the card worked just fine

had some trouble, too.

Try the external setup program or f2 in mediaportal. maybe that helps.
in my case i could add the card after some error messages and finally found it was set to "antenna" instead of "cable", which was, why all my stations were gone and/or mixed up.

I have tried to change my TV settings in the MP configuration, but when i try too add a new capture card i get the error message

no video capture card(s) were found, you won't be able to configure a capture card

But where should I change my TV-tuner to cable instead of antenna ? I could not find the setting anywhere in my MP TV configuration.

antenna cable is only possible after you added a card.

but i think dman added this to rc3 lately.

maybe follow the instructions and unrar the files of the latest svn version over your installation (if haven´t done this already).

My mistake ! I discovered that i use a different card, since mine is a Hauppauge WinTV SoftPVR USB2 (model 42xxx). But seeing the list of supported cards, i guess that my card is not supported. But it puzzles me why it worked fine with MP 0.2 RC2...somehing must have changed in the latest release (RC3), that has caused the card to stop working.

I also tried looking into the subversion repository, to look for any updates in the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml, but still my card cannot be found.
