    Hi javie,
I just closed a thread on the same issue.

After spending hours trying to repair the client the final solution was to restart "TV Server" on the server PC. You may want to give it a try.

I recently encountered the exact same problem: I cannot watch nor live neither recorded TV anymore, resulting in the same error dialog box (with "Audio codec: " and nothing more). I can access EPG data, etc, but no streaming. This used to work, and does not anymore, I see no reason why, I'm rather sure it did work in version 1.0.1. This happens on my various clients (total tested: 3).

I have tried to upgrade one client to 1.0.2 without success (same behaviour).

It does work better when running the client on the server itself: I can watch live TV but not recorded TV (it displays the first picture and nothing more).

On client1, 2 and 3, I cannot play recorded .TS files with WMP11 (through a windows share): only the first picture appears, and nothing more happens.

On client3, a brand new Dell Inpiron mini10 netbook, I could watch these .ts files before I installed MP 1.0.2 (brand new install - it installed VC2008 runtime, DX, then MP 1.0.2). After MP installation, I cannot read .ts files anymore from WMP11 through the same network share. It seems MP package installation corrupted the ability of WMP11 to properly play .ts files (only first picture displayed). I tried to do a full MP cleanup, but now WMP11 makes an error when opening a .ts file and does nothing.

Media Player Classic HC can read these .ts files perfectly on Client1 (network share).

When opening any .ts file in graphedit, they can be rendered properly (even if it complains that some streams are not processed, I guess this is the subtitles pin which is not connected).

I have tried to re-apply dvbfix patch on the server then on the client, and also tried to reboot everything.

What to do, then ? Has anyone any idea ? I'm stuck and cannnot figure out what's wrong. I'm pretty sure that the problem lies with WMP11 or its configuration,

    Ivan.

    Exact same problem here.

Works just fine in VLC and MPC, but neither MP or WMP manages to play the file. Only the first frame is shown.

    My setup is:

Single Seat TV Server (Server / Client on same computer)
    MP 1.0.2.0
MSI TV @nywhere A/D ver 1.0 (Hybrid DVB-T/Analog SW Based)
Dedicated MS SQL 2008 Server (Developer Edition)

Will make an image of my current setup, and create a fresh installation of Windows and MP to make sure I didn't screw up something.

    Planned:

    - Install XP SP3 Corp (Job benefits :D)
    - Install drivers
    - Install MediaPortal
    - Install SAF + MainConcept encoder (Bundled with TV Card. If if does not work, I will uninstall clean registry and install WinDVR3 instead)
    - Post back here :)
