Hi there,
After being idle for several months I uninstalled the old 0.2 version of MediaPortal and TVserver and installed the RC2 version. During installation I choosed to alter the Windows Firewall Configuration for remote access. This produces a very confusing error message popup if the Firewall service is set to disabled (which was on my machine). You should check the services state during setup and hide the option if the Firewall service is set to disabled and maybe stopped or even if it does not exist.
