Hi, been using mp for a couple of days and have several blurays ripped in iso format.

Im using the powerdvd 8 ultra .h264 codecs.

When i press play i get the following MKx error message window;
"A decoder for the new track could not be found.
Track Type:"

If I click on "OK" the movie plays fine. I have disabled subtitles in MP if that helps but no

A work around i have found is to enable PowerDVD as the player which works fine apart from one niggle,,,When the power DVD navigation pane disappears from the bottom of the screen, it slightly remains at the bottom of the screen, just a thin strip but it is annoying.

If I use PowerDVD standalone, launching in fullscreen, the navigation bar will completely disappear unless i move the mouse on the screen.

MP is set to launch full screen and so is power dvd. I also have MP set ti hide the windows taskbar. I've played with those settings but cannot get rid of the power dvd navigation bar completely when launched via MP.

Thanks for looking at my early problems.

Sorry to bump this but has anyone any thoughts on this.

The other solution I tried was just to remove PowerDVD8 as an external player in MP config, but in Powerdvd settings, get it to autoplay. So now when an iso gets mounted via MP powerdvd opens just fine and no element of the navigation bar remains at the bottom of the screen.
However, in the background, when i close P/DVD, MP stills has that MKx error window open and i cannot get rid of it without clicking ok, then MP proceeds to play the file. (i don't want to have to get the mouse out to do this)

Maybe i need to try the HD_starter plugin but i'm not sure how to install and set it up.
(My remote control is set-up to go through eventghost and a message plugin in MP)
