I have a similar problem since I updated to the subcentral v1.1.0. When trying to retrieve a subtitle, I get the error message "could not find subcentral skin file".
Currently I am using an older version of the StreamedMp skin (1.3.1). I would like to avoid a skin update because I made quite a few changes to the skin files, which then would be lost. So I downloaded the newest subcentral skin files from the streamedmp SVN repository and replaced the old skin files. But the error message maintains. Shouldn't this work or am I missing something?
