Hi,

I've been using Online videos for a while now without any problems.
After MP 1.1.0 was released, I did clean install and installed all plugins again.
After I installed Online videos 0.23, it's not working at all anymore.
It doesn't matter if it's .flv or .mp4 file, anything doesn't run.
All I get is message which says "error starting playback", any ideas?
I've already tried 0.24 too, but results are the same.

error.log shows following after trying to play different files:

2010-07-28 15:21:57.097808 [ERROR][OnlineVideos(32)]: Failed filter: File Source (URL) not found
2010-07-28 15:22:00.228987 [ERROR][OnlineVideos(35)]: Failed filter: File Source (URL) not found
2010-07-28 15:23:56.134616 [ERROR][OnlineVideos(28)]: Failed filter: File Source (URL) not found

Your directshow filter setup is screwed. "File Source (URL)" is a windows component and should be registered!

Try this from a command prompt opened as admin:

    regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\quartz.dll

Thanks for the quick answer. I tried what you suggested, but it didn't seem to help.
I guess you are right though, since I can't see File Source in my directshow filters list.
I just don't understand how it has been messed up, since I haven't touched to anything.
    Just did clean install.

Any other ideas, which could help?

Did you get a message saying that registration was successfull?
Did you install WindowsMediaPlayer with Windows?

    Then I'm clueless ;)
But it can't be a default clean install of windows, I have win7x64 as well and after my clean install the filter was registered...

Well, I didn't do clean install for whole windows, just for MediaPortal.
That's why I'm clueless too, because I didn't touch anything. Just did complete uninstall and then installed MP again.
So, nothing should have changed and like I said, it worked before that just perfectly.

I found a solution. I forgot to mention, that I'm having 64-bit version of Win 7 as well.
So I realized that 32-bit drivers are in syswow64 folder. I did register quartz.dll again in there and after that it's working again.
Thousand thanks for your help, without you I would still be guessing what might be the reason. :)
