    Hi Cheezy,

On a newly rebuilt MP all in one machine using MP Final and iPimp 5.01 patch I'm getting the following error when trying to make the pc play a moving pictures movie. Not sure if anyone has reported this yet...

    Hello Cheezey,

I have the same problem as the other above. When trying to play a dvd from Moving Pictures with iPimP (iso, vob or mkv makes no difference) I get the same error-messge as TommySharp.

I have an mediaportal.log attached. I hope it can help you to solve any problem there might be.

If you need any extra information, please let me know.

    Regards Henk

No, not yet. There's a fair amount of work to do with this I think. For MyVideos the plugin has a PlayVideo method which you just pass it the video ID, the MyVideos plugin then handles all the rest (mounting ISO files, doing something with DVD player for DVD files etc.). Moving Pictures doesn't have that so I just call the underlying MediaPortal player passing it the path to the movie file, the MediaPortal player doesn't handle ISO loading etc so fails. I need to update the plugin to handle all that which is no small task. I expect I'll see similar reports when 5.1.0 is released with TV Series support and where users have TV Series on DVD/ISO etc.

Summary - it won't be fixed in 5.1.0 but it's still on my things to do.

    Hello mate,

I can't play AVI or MKV files (is this the same issue)?

    Thanks,

    J.
