error with media portal when i use fanart (1 Viewer)

When I use fanart and I try to run media portal it has an error and I have to press alt-f4 to get out.

The only thing in the error log is this

2007-10-11 19:08:13.248790 [ERROR][MPMain]: D3D: Exception: Warning: Nothing will be rendered.
The reference rendering device was selected, but your
computer only has a reduced-functionality reference device
installed. Please check if your graphics card and
drivers meet the minimum system requirements.


If I delete or rename the fanart folder I dont have a problem


Ive tryed the newest svn of the plugin and media portal and its made no diference

I am running the svn from a couple days ago and I have also experienced this problem... once. It worked fine for about a day, then I got this error when opening MP. I tried again immediately after ending the process with no errors. Didn't change anything the whole time. I know that's not too helpful but...

I forgot to say if i run mediaportal again after Ive stoped it it works fine.
