The weather channel reports UV readings as a number and a word to describe the magnitude of the reading. They use 0-9, but they also use "N/A" and "10+". These last two items are displayed by MediaPortal as "0" (zero). This leads to such interesting reports as "0 Extreme". It's easy to test this. Disable your network link. Go to the cache directory under MediaPortal. Edit the curWeather.xml file. Find the <uv>.....</uv> section and edit it appropriately. You don't even have to exit MediaPortal, just hit refresh.

Also, it looks like MediaPortal is adding a space to the end of the descriptive word. I noticed this in the MCE wide skin which right-justifies the column. This isn't a bug in 0.2.3.0 RC1, it was also present in 0.2.2.
